THE WORKOUTS

Simply put, Lagree Fitness is the most innovative and aggressive approach to full body conditioning. Moving effectively out of the borders of conditioned stimulus, this workout integrates the key elements of resistance and counter-resistance in a sequence that allows for periods of zero gravity at peak muscle contraction. The composition of this mThe Lagree workout strengthens the body, tones and elongates the muscles, improves endurance, jump-starts the metabolism, burns fat, increases flexibility and postural alignment, and restores the body’s natural balance. The client, at conclusion, is left with a LITHE AND POWERFUL BODY, resistant to the everyday stresses of work and life.

ethod is significant in that it encourages maximum exertion while allowing for low risk of injury.

At the core of the Lagree training method is Proformer™, which represents a significant evolution of the traditional Pilates reformer. It is designed to cater to both upper and lower body muscles, using a system of springs and pulleys to accommodate the resistance and counter-resistance elements of the workout. Under the guidance of your certified instructor, it’s one of the safest ways to strengthen your muscles while reducing stress on the joints and connective tissues.

Lagree Fitness™ is an innovative workout specifically designed to strengthen, tighten, and tone the body quickly and safely. This workout is largely based on the holistic principles of Pilates, but also emphasizes the strength training and cardio elements not inherent to Pilates to achieve muscle definition faster than traditional Pilates and/or weight training alone. All in as little as 40 minutes!  By incorporating the key principles of core stability and blending them with the fusion of muscle dynamics, Sebastien Lagree has created “THE NEXT EVOLUTION IN PHYSICAL FITNESS.”

FAQ's

WHAT IS PILATES PLUS?

Simply put, Pilates Plus is a combination of weight training and Pilates. Pilates Plus utilizes the best of both: the strengthening and toning benefits of weight training, and the lengthening and postural enhancing benefits of Pilates in a circuit training sequence.

Pilates Plus keeps the heart rate up and burns extra calories. The routines incorporate “old school” exercises such as push ups and lunges, however, the support of the ProFormer™ eliminates the pressure on joints and the spine.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRACTICE PILATES PLUS?

The workout is designed to work your body to muscle fatigue at which point you need to rest.

Depending on your fitness level and the intensity of your workout, you will need more or less time to recover. I would recommend 2 to 3 times a week to allow your body to properly recover and repair. Some students love the workout so much that they come 5 or 6 times a week. Listen to your body.

I HAVE NEVER DONE PILATES, CAN I DO THE CLASSES? OR SHOULD I DO PRIVATE SESSIONS FIRST?

It depends on your current fitness level. 99% of our new students do just fine in the classes.

The workout is intense but the routine is kept simple to make sure everyone is using good form. However, if you have chronic back pain , painful joints or a severe medical condition, it is recommended to take a private session first to assess your fitness level.

WHAT IF I CAN’T COME TO CLASS AND I HAVE ALREADY BEEN CONFIRMED? WILL I BE CHARGED?

Yes, even if it’s your first time. We require a 12 hour notice before making any kind of changes to your schedule. If you cancel or reschedule a class in the online scheduler within 12 hours of your scheduled class, we will charge a fee of $10. If you don’t show up for a reserved class, or fail to initial the “sign-in” sheet or scan your membership keytag, you will be charged $15. This applies for unlimited membership only. All other memberships, count series clients, and online deal clients will forfeit that class – just use it or lose it. There are no exceptions.

Please arrive at least ten minutes before class. If you do not show up for your reserved spot within 5 minutes after the start of class, it may be given to a standby student.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT SCHEDULING CLASSES AND THE AUTOMATED BOOKING SYSTEM?

Someone is usually available during class hours. We recommend all our members to get familiar with our automated booking system. it is the easiest, fastest, and most accurate way to book classes. If you forgot your password or need more info, call us or email us.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?

1. Most importantly, bring a positive attitude. Leave all your worries behind. The class is for you. You need to be present minded when working out to maximize the benefits of the class.

2. Bring a towel as you will most likely sweat!

3. We have water, but please bring a canteen so we can save paper on cups!

4. Wear comfortable clothes that allow your muscles to stretch and your skin to "breathe".

5. Grip socks for safety & sanitary purposes (if you don't have any, you can purchase a pair at the studio).

6. Jewelry is NOT a good idea. Your necklace may catch into the springs system (a nightmare to undo) and you may forget it or lose it.  It creates too many opportunities for disaster (we know because we've seen it too many times), but wearing jewelry is a choice for you to make.

7 . No cell phones during classes (please be respectful of others).

8. No strong perfumes as some students are allergic.

9 . If you are about to renew, please bring your payment if you choose to pay in cash.  Most of our clientele pay online using our automated system. Please understand that no classes can be confirmed if you're not prepaid.

10. You'll need a hair tie if you have long hair.
